Over the last two years, Jesse Cole Rivera, Commander of Post 12 Banderas Bay has planned and organized receptions, tours, and MWR events and activities for 8 U.S. Coast Guard Cutters that have visited Puerto Vallarta. Moreover, Commander Rivera has been, and is currently, working with Congressman Lalota, 1st Congressional District of NY, to expand comprehensive medical coverage abroad for veterans rated 100% permanently and totally disabled.  The proposed bill will also bring direct deposit capability to the VA Foreign Medical Program (FMP) and allow veterans and foreign hospitals to submit FMP registration forms and claims for reimbursement via the mobile apps on IOS and Android.  Now joining him in these endeavors is George Stellweg, the newly elected Commander of American Legion Post 2, Mexico City.
