At American Legion Post 2, Alan Seeger we are the #2 American Legion Post in the world, located in the Condesa area of Mexico City. Our post is named to honor Alan Seeger, an American war poet, who fought and died in World War I during the Battle of the Somme, serving in the French Foreign Legion. Our mission is to help veterans receive the services they are entitled to from the Veterans Administration. We have a VSO, Veteran Service Officer, who is able to assist with these services. In addition we provide camaraderie and socialization amongst veterans, and provide service to our community, and recognize outstanding service to the community at large.
